Parks of Hiram GA

Hiram Trail Head is at the mile marker 14.7 on the Silver Comet Trail, which has a great parking area. Homer Legget Park is close by the trailhead and they have great restrooms, water, covered picnic tables, and playgrounds. They also share an original train caboose which is located in the parking lot. This old train serves as a Sheriff station for the deputies that patrol the trail. While you are hiking the trails of the park you can enjoy seeing the interesting old buildings and different materials and equipment.

Sweetwater Memorial Park is a tree-lined piece of property that is in a very peaceful and private location in Hiram Georgia. The burial spaces of this park are about a foot bigger than the average cemeteries. They have over 22 acres of natural rolling mountain roads that are 20 feet wide, giving plenty of room for parking and visiting.
